HILLSBORO, Ill. - The men's cross country team received first and second place finishes from Gianni Estrada and Kaleb Carlson as they defeated 10 other teams in the Greenville Classic on Friday.

Estrada's first place time of 26:16 led the field by over 20 seconds.

Carlsonn managed to record a time of 26:38 as runner up.

Joe Gomez provided a time of 27:09 to become Greenville's third top 10 finisher in ninth place overall.

Collin Kessinger had a 12th place mark of 27:23, and Garrett Johnson was 14th in 27:28.

Greenville collected 38 points in the race to nip Heartland who had 41 points.

The Panthers return to the course on Saturday, October 30, at the SLIAC championships in Litchfield.
