DUBUQUE, Iowa - The softball team scheduled a doubleheader in Iowa earlier in the week and played Dubuque on Friday. The Panthers lost game one 9-0 and game two 5-0.
In game one, the Panthers were no-hit and only had one baserunner, Maegan Stone, who was hit by a pitch.
Dubuque scored in every inning of the shortened game.
Stone pitched all 3.2 innings for GU, allowing all nine runs on 14 hits.
In game two, the Panthers were shutout 7-0, but they managed to pick up a couple of hits.
Stone and Desirae Yost were both 1-for-3 in game two.
Alison Klaus was the starting pitcher, and she got the Panthers through five innings, allowing seven runs, six earned on nine hits.
The Panthers (0-6) will go to Franklin on Friday for a doubleheader.
