ADRIAN, Mich. - The women's basketball team finished their trip to Michigan with a 52-50 setback against Adrian on Saturday afternoon.

In a start contrast to Friday's contest against the same opponent, the Panthers managed to keep the game close, finding themselves with a two-point lead when Haven Robertson sank a layup with 2:13 to go in the game.

Later in the fourth quarter, Adrian tied the game at 50-all with 1:47 left on the clock and took the lead on their next possession.

For the second straight game, Madelyn Stephen was a leading scorer for GU with a game-high 16 points. Ashley Anderson joined Stephen with 16 points and a team-high six rebounds.

The Panthers protected the ball well in the contest, committing just 10 turnovers, but their 28.8 percent shooting effort from the field (15-of-52) worked against them.

Greenville (0-2) travel to Concordia Chicago for a game on Saturday, Jan. 23.
