Women's basketball falls in return matchup with Webster

WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. - The women's basketball team was unable to defeat Webster for a second time this season and lost 65-49 on Friday night.

Payten Morris ended as the top scorer for GU, netting 10 points, but she was the only player reaching double figures for Greenville.

Madelyn Stephen posted nine points, and Ashley Anderson had an evening where she produced seven rebounds and four assists.

Emily Reinneck was held in check offensively, but she helped on defense with four steals.

The Panthers (4-9, 2-2 SLIAC) play Eureka on Friday at 5:30 p.m. in Greenville.
