GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's soccer team suffered a disappointing 2-1 loss on Wednesday to Westminster after scoring early to set the tone for the match.

In the match's 16th minute, Jen De Leon De Leon scored her second goal of the season with an assist from Jordan Wilson.

Before the first half ended, Westminster took the lead with goals in the 19th and 43rd minutes of the match.

Greenville's De Leon De Leon set the pace for the Panthers with six shots, including two shots on goal.

Molly McDonnell added four shots, and GU's goalkeeper Grace Wehner finished with seven saves.

The Panthers (1-3, 1-3 SLIAC) host Webster on Saturday afternoon.
