GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's soccer team took care of Eureka with a 9-0 victory on Friday afternoon.

The Panthers went the first 10 minutes of the match without scoring, but the team managed to score six times in 35 minutes to close out the first half.

GU tacked on three second half goals, and the team finished with a season-high 52 shots in the match.

Molly McDonnell and Jen De Leon De Leon each recorded seven shots, and McDonnell scored twice.

Single goals were scored by Emma Cadwell, Sophie Laughlin, Athena Hagerman, Meggie Pallme, Vanessa Ramirez, Courtney Lawrence, and Maddie Missed.

Goalkeeper Grace Gehner was not tested as she recorded the shutout.

The Panthers (2-4, 2-4 SLIAC) will travel to Iowa Wesleyan on April 14 for their next match.
