Women's soccer offensive explosion leads to 4-1 win

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's soccer team received two goals from Allyson Schulz and single goals by Maddie Missey and Ella Ray in their 4-1 win over Stephens at Francis Field on Friday.

The Panthers did well offensively, outshooting the Stars 20-5. They managed to put up three goals in the first half and a final one in the second half.

Stephens tried fighting back with a goal in the 38th minute but wasn’t able to add any more to the scoreboard, leaving the Panthers with a big win.

Carly Wagner and Madison Ashford shared time in the net for Greenville. Wagner played the first half, and Ashford claimed the second. Wagner and Ashford had one save each.

The Panthers (1-2-2) host Wisconsin-Platteville at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at Francis Field.
