LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The women's tennis team faced Covenant on Friday and lost 7-2. Greenville received wins by No. 1 Mireia Birosta and No. 6 Samantha Siefken.
After Greenville fell behind 3-0 after doubles competition, the Panthers earned wins in No. 1 and No. 6 singles.
No. 1 Birosta took a 4-6, 6-2, 10-6 victory in a third set tiebreaker.
No. 6 Siefken was a 7-5, 2-6, 12-10 winner.
The Panthers received tiebreaker losses in No. 2 doubles (Emily Buratovich and Shaling Reynolds), No. 2 singles (Addison Brannon), and No. 4 singles (Reynolds).
The Panthers (3-2) will stay in Georgia and will play Belhaven on Saturday.
