Women's tennis falls 6-3 to Webster

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's tennis team returned to action after a nearly three week lay-off and lost to Webster 6-3 in a SLIAC match on Friday afternoon.

During the opening schedule of doubles matches, Shaling Reynolds and Claudia Principal teamed up for an 8-6 win in the No. 2 match.

One-half of the singles matches went to a deciding third set, but Webster managed to win all three to secure their win.

Greenville picked up a pair of points with a win by No. 2 Addison Brannon with a 6-4, 7-5 victory and No. 6 Samantha Siefken with a 6-4, 6-1 triumph.

The Panthers (6-3, 1-1 SLIAC) will host Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Greenville.
