Women's indoor track and field 8th at NCCAA championships

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- The women's indoor track and field team was the eighth place squad at the NCCAA national championships this weekend.

The women wer led by Jessica Staley and Rachel Hanna.

Staley was the national runner-up in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:00.47.

Hanna finished third in the pole vault with a clearance of 10 feet-5.5 inches.

Hanna was on top of things in the 60 meter hurdles as well with a fourth place 10.18 mark.

Greenville's 4x200 team was fourth in 1:51, and Sydney Porter ranked fourth in the penthalon with a score of 2234.

The Panthers return to their next meet on Friday at Principa.
