Women's track and field features ninth place from Sharp in heptathlon

ROLLA, Mo. - The women's track and field team was represented by Cayden Sharp's ninth place finish in the heptathlon at Missouri S&T on Friday and Saturday.

Sharp recorded 3,358 points over the seven events.

Sharp's top score was obtained in the 200 meter dash. She completed the race in 27.55 seconds for 677 and seventh place.

She also had 668 points in the 100 meter hurdles with an eighth place mark of 16.38 seconds.

The Panthers will host the SLIAC-AMC Championships on Friday and Saturday in Greenville.
