GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's volleyball team swept past Blackburn in three sets on Wednesday night to keep rolling through conference action. The Panthers defeated the Beavers 25-10, 25-13, 25-16.
Abby Freeman continued her offensive onslaught with 13 kills, three service aces, and a block assist for 16.5 points.
Anna Finch was effective on the front with eight kills and a hitting percentage of .438. She added two solo blocks.
Greenville featured a balanced defensive effort with four players reaching eight to 11 digs. Brooklyn Pace was the team leader with 11 digs.
GU hit at a .330 rate in the match with 38 kills and nine errors in 88 attacks. Their best set was the second with 14 kills and two errors in 22 attempts for a hitting percentage of .545.
The Panthers (7-5, 5-1 SLIAC) travel to the North Park tournament for two matches on Friday.
