Women's volleyball defeats Principia in three to extend winning streak

ELSAH, Ill. - The women's volleyball team handled Principia in three sets on Tuesday as they took the 25-16, 25-15, 25-13 win.

Greenville .250 or better in every set, opening with 12 kills, four errors, and 32 attacks in the first set to finish at .250.

In the second set, Greenville improved with 16 kills, three errors, and 41 attacks, establishing a rate of .317.

In the final set, GU had 13 kills, two errors, and 37 attacks, finishing at .297.

Emily Stahl provided the high point total for the Panthers with 13.5. She had seven kills, six service aces, and one block assist.

Sacorra Patton hit double figures in kills with 11 and had GU's high attack rate of .588.

Jordan Lempa provided 23 set assists in the match.

Jasmin Smith defended Principia's attacks with 14 digs, and Haley Banks finished with two block assists.

The Panthers (17-7, 12-1 SLIAC) host Webster on Thursday in the SLIAC game of the week.
