No. 15 women's volleyball routs Illinois College in three sets

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The NCAA Division III No. 15 women's volleyball team was a three-set winner over Illinois College on Monday night in Greenville.

After a close 25-22 score in the first set, Greenville displayed their dominance with 25-14 wins in the second and third sets.

The Panthers finished the match with a .279 hitting line. Greenville completed 43 kills with nine errors on 122 swings.

Anna Finch controlled the match at the net for Greenville with a .600 hitting percentage and a team-high 12 kills in 20 errorless attacks. She also had two solo blocks and two block assists.

Jasmin Smith recorded 11 kills and two errors on 22 swings, posting a rate of .409.

Jordan Lempa and Kaitlin Murray directed the offense for GU with 20 and 13 assists, respectively.

Chasity Hill was active on defense all night with 19 digs.

The Panthers (9-1, 8-1 SLIAC) will face Webster on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in H.J. Long Gymnasium.
