Women's volleyball collects three-set win over Blackburn

CARLINVILLE, Ill. - The women's volleyball team produced another three set win on Wednesday at Blackburn with a 25-19, 25-21, 25-10 victory.

Greenville's offensive attack was balanced with five players tallying eight to 11 kills.

Jasmin Smith finished at the top of GU's kills list with 11 in the match. She only had two errors and ended with a hitting percentage of .360.

Middles Anna Finch and Emily Stahl totaled a pair of nine kill outings. Finch posted a .444 hitting rate with only one error in her 18 attempts, and Stahl ended at .412 with two errors in 17 attempts.

Amanda Hollis and Haley Banks tallied eight kills.

Greenville's balanced offense was run by Jordan Lempa with 21 set assists and Kaitlin Murray with 19 set assists.

Smith completed a double-double, her fifth of the season and fourth consecutive, with 19 digs.

The Panthers (12-2, 10-2 SLIAC) go to Fontbonne for a match on Thursday night.
