Women's volleyball rolls into SLIAC championship match with three set semifinal win over Fontbonne

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The No. 17 women's volleyball team advanced to the SLIAC tournament championship match with a three set win over Fontbonne on Wednesday night in H.J. Long Gymnasium. Greenville won the match 25-22, 25-18, 25-16.

The Panthers ended with a hitting percentage of .143 in the contest after collecting 31 kills and 15 errors on 112 swings.

Anna Finch ended with the most kills for GU with eight in the match. Finch produced a hitting percentage of .571 on her 14 swings.

Emily Stahl totaled seven kills, and she was active at the net with one solo block and four block assists.

Chasity Hill answered Fontbonne's attacks all night with 19 digs in the match.

The Panthers (15-2) will play Westminster in the SLIAC tournament championship match on Friday night at 7 p.m. in H.J. Long Gymnasium.
