Women's cross country earns 29th at NCAA regional

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The women's cross country team was paced by Hannah Williams and Kori Nesbit as they placed 29th at the NCAA Division III midwest regional on Saturday.

Williams finished in the 149th place position with a time of 25:31 over the six kilometer race.

Nesbit ended her race just seven seconds and five places behind Williams with a time of 25:38 and 152nd place showing.

Number 3 and number 4 runners Victoria Dyson and Emma Leonhard both crossed the finish line within one second of each other, taking the 169th and 170th positions with times of 26:01 and 26:02.

Greenville's scoring was wrapped up by Sabrina Favela who was 210th in 27:39.

The Panthers concluded the race with 830 points in a field of 35 teams.

Greenville wrapped up the cross country season with the runner up position at the SLIAC championships.
