HILLSBORO, Ill. - The women's cross country team finished third of eight teams at the Greenville Classic hosted at the Hillsboro Country Club.

Gretchen Carie was the first finisher from GU, clocking a time of 20:29 in her eighth place performance.

Olivia Mansfield posted a time of 20:35, taking 11th place.

Hannah Williams ended as Greenville's number three runner, taking a mark of 20:40.

Greenville's scoring was capped by Keiko Palen (24th, 21:42) and Emma Leonhard (27th, 21:52).

The Panthers accumulated 74 points, finishing third to Heartland (32 points) and Webster (53 points).

Greenville will next compete at the SLIAC championships on Saturday, October 30, in Litchfield.
