CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The baseball team fell behind 9-0 after three innings and later trailed 11-8 before ultimately dropping a 14-8 decision at Wabash on Thursday afternoon.
Greenville managed to post four runs in the fourth inning to bring the deficit down to 9-4 and posted three runs in the seventh inning to make the score 11-8, but the Little Giants scored three runs between the seventh and eighth innings to add a cushion.
George Schneider and Markus Isaiah each posted two hits in the game for GU.
Schneider, Landon Mokris, and Nathan Eye all recorded two RBI.
Terry Millikan received the start on the mound and went 1.1 innings, allowing five runs on two hits and three walks.
Austin Moses, Stephen Hardwick, Ty Kueper, and Ian Wilson also threw for the Panthers.
Greenville (12-23) hosts Blackburn on Friday in a doubleheader at 5 p.m.
