The game brought a season highlight for the Panthers when Landon Mokris tied a SLIAC and Greenville University single-season record previously held exclusively by Stefan Neece with his 19th home run of the season in the sixth inning. He also tied Neece's single-season RBI record with 67.
Jacob Sutton, Mokris, Nathan Eye, Brexton Beard, and Rhett Pennington all finished with two hits for GU. In addition to Mokris, Eye and Beard also homered.
Cade Buehnerkemper allowed four runs on six hits over 5.1 innings with two walks, two hit batsmen, and two strikeouts.
Terry Millikan was tagged with the loss when he allowed two runs in two-thirds of an inning in relief of Buehnerkemper.
Jacob Hammer permitted three runs in one inning of relief, and Ian Wilson allowed two runs over two innings.
The Panthers concluded their season with an overall record of 18-25.
