Cheer takes first in DIII Co-Ed Cheer at Collegiate Virtual Championships
The cheer and dance teams showed out in the Collegiate Virtual Championships this weekend, taking first in the Division III Co-Ed Cheer portion!
GREENVILLE, Ill. - The cheer and dance teams showed out in the Collegiate Virtual Championships this weekend, taking first in the Division III Co-Ed Cheer portion! The Panthers also placed high in the Open-Super Spirit Showdown, taking second of four teams.
How it Happened:
The cheer team scored a 69.43 in DIII Co-Ed cheer to take first place, notably scoring higher than all of the division two schools in the same category.
GU dance's hip-hop routine earned them fifth place after they scored a 79.1, just behind Southern Virginia.
Cheer and Dance crushed it in the Super Spirit Showdown, posting a 40.5 to take second, right behind Our Lady of the Lake.
