GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's basketball team raced past Fontbonne in their Senior Day matchup, winning 139-104.
How it Happened:
From the opening tip, Greenville pushed the pace, racing to an 88-51 halftime lead and never looking back.
Senior, Adrian Alvarez led the charge with twenty points, hitting six three-pointers with deadly accuracy.
Carlos Crespo followed closely with eighteen points, while Ja'Rod Webb contributed fourteen off the bench.
The Panthers executed their up-tempo attack to perfection, racking up 34 assists and draining 23 three-pointers at a 43.4% clip.
Defensively, Greenville forced 35 turnovers, disrupting Fontbonne's rhythm throughout the contest.
Vince Rodriguez collected six steals, standing only one steal away from tying the Greenville season-record for steals. In the next couple games, Rodriguez hopes to set the new school record.
