LINCOLN, Neb. - The men's gymnastics team continues to up their season-high, recording a 309.350 against Nebraska. The Panthers brought home the vault title along with some second-place finishes.
How it Happened:
Floor Highlights (53.100):
Ethan Poole and Jaxon Clapper led the way on floor, tying for second place with marks of 13.500.
Andres Esquivel (13.200) was right behind them with a fourth-place tie.
Pommel Highlights (52.650):
Esquivel also stood out on pommel, collecting a 13.900 to take second.
Tying for fourth, Matthew Roth earned a 13.650.
Rings Highlights (49.250):
On rings, Poole was the top Panther again after receiving a 13.800 to tie for the silver.
Ricky Mays sat at a 13.000 to earn fifth.
Vault Highlights (55.000):
Mays earned the top spot, earning the title with a 14.850 vault score, while Clapper followed with a 13.950.
P-Bars Highlights (51.650):
Kevin Laurino scored a 13.600 on the p-bars to put himself at third place.
Michael Avery followed in fourth with a 13.300.
High Bar Highlights (47.700):
Avery had another fourth-place finish, earning a 12.150 on the h-bar.
Jacob Foster put up a 12.050 to take fifth.
