McPeek strikes twice in comeback win for men's soccer
The men's soccer team secured their second overtime win of the season in double overtime on Friday night when freshman Jared McPeek headed the ball past Elmhurst's goalkeeper with 1.2 seconds remaining in the period to give the Panthers a 2-1 win over the Blue Jays.

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's soccer team secured their second overtime win of the season in double overtime on Friday night when freshman Jared McPeek headed the ball past Elmhurst's goalkeeper with 1.2 seconds remaining in the period to give the Panthers a 2-1 win over the Blue Jays.
McPeek, who also had the game-tying goal in the 87th minute, delivered his second overtime winner of the season, and holds the team-high in goals with three.
The Panthers and Blue Jays each had 11 shots in the match.
McPeek's two goals were the result of four shots.
Greenville's goalkeeper Nick Holland bettered the EC goalkeeper with five saves as his GAA continued to drop under 1.00.
The Panthers (4-1) go to Lincoln Christian on Saturday.
