GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's soccer team locked up with Webster in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday night. The Panthers controlled the course of the match with a 25-8 shot advantage and broke through with a match-tying goal from Pablo Valverde with 8:30 to play to tie the score.
Andres Garcia ended as GU's team leader in shots with five in the match.
Napoleon Urquidi, Rafael Navas, and Jaime Torres all had four shots.
Hiram Cruz protected the GU net as goalkeeper for all 90 minutes. He collected one save and only faced two shots on goal.
