GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's soccer team blanked Eureka on Wednesday night in Greenville, gaining a pair of goals from Pablo Valverde in the first 15 minutes of the match and a score from Gabriel Sule in the 34th minute.
The Panthers dominated possession in the match, outshooting the Red Devils 29-6.
GU had a 13-2 shot advantage after one half and added a 16-4 margin in the second period.
Greenville had an opportunity to play their extended lineup, and all 25 players on the active roster entered the match.
Rafael Navas and Jaime Torres paced the Panthers in shots, each collecting four.
Jared McPeek assisted Valverde on the first goal, and Napoleon Urquidi provided Sule with an assist.
