Men's tennis nips Rose-Hulman
The men's tennis team collected a 5-4 win over Rose-Hulman on Friday afternoon at the Scott J. Burgess Tennis Complex.
GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's tennis team collected a 5-4 win over Rose-Hulman on Friday afternoon at the Scott J. Burgess Tennis Complex.
The Panthers opened the match with two wins in their doubles matches.
The No. 1 combo of Andres Sanchez and Rafael Rodriguez won 8-6, and the No. 2 team of Luke Motsinger and Clark Kent topped their opponents 8-1.
GU's three singles winners included No. 2 Rodriguez, No. 4 Motsinger, and No. 5 Jean Rigaud Sanabria.
Rodriguez came away with a 6-4, 6-1 win, and No. 4 Motsinger won 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 10-7
Sanabria went to a tiebreaker before winning 5-7, 6-3, 10-6.
The Panthers (11-5) will face Principia on Monday at 6:30 p.m. in Greenville.
