Tennis receives ITA All-Academic Team awards and ten Scholar-Athlete honors
GREENVILLE, Ill. – Greenville tennis is starting the school year off strong after the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2024 Division III ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams. The men's and women's teams were both awarded the ITA All-Academic Team award with a total of ten athletes receiving the individual award.
For a team to earn the All-Academic award, they must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above. Athletes must obtain a 3.5 GPA or above to qualify for the Scholar-Athlete award.
The Greenville tennis program was represented by the following athletes in the ITA Scholar-Athlete category:

Women's tennis travels to Millikin next weekend to kick off their fall season, while the men's team starts their fall season on September 13th at home. They are hosting Anderson (Ind.) and Dubuque at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
