Men's track and field scores 31 at Washington University

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's track and field team fell by a 76-31 score to Washington University in a dual meet on Saturday.

Carson Rantanen led the field in the 100 meter dash as he recorded a first place time of 10.78 seconds.

Greenville's "B" team in the 4x100 meter relay was comprised of Colton Rich, Malik Grant, Justin Miller, and Isaac Green. They were the winners in 45.78 seconds.

Green was also a winner in the long jump with a mark of 6.74 meters.

Hunter Matthews took the top position in the high jump with a height of 1.90 meters.

Benjamin Schuette placed first in the hammer throw with a distance of 41.96 meters.

The Panthers return to the track next Saturday in Greenville in their first home meet of the season.
