Men's track and field lands in top three for multiple events at Principia
ELSAH, Ill. - The men's track and field team brought home some medals from the Principia Relays, including some top-three finishes. The Panthers saw some impressive showings from Cory Stoll, Chase LaTouche, and the DMR team.
How it Happened:
Stoll earned himself first place in the long jump with a 6.81m landing. After qualifying with a 7.00s in the 60m, he finished fourth in the 60m finals with a 7.01s.
The distance medley "A" team placed second in their event, running a 10:40.74.
LaTouche also had a second-place performance, running a 36.56s in the 300m. He competed in the 200m, posting a 23.12 to earn fifth.
The 4x800 team ran an 8:08.88 to place third, while James McMinns placed fourth in the 300m with a 36.79s.
Other notable performances included fifth-place finishes from the 4x200 team (1:35.52), Jordan Peternel (LJ - 6.74m), and Keenon Johnikin (LJ - 6.54m).
