Men's track and field places high at WashU
The men's track and field team had a good showing against some tough competition at the WashU Invite, taking seventh place with three third-place finishes!
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's track and field team had a good showing against some tough competition at the WashU Invite, taking seventh place with three third-place finishes!
How it Happened:
Eric Mitchell showed out in shotput, recording a 13.75m for third.
In the triple jump, Keenon Johnikin placed third with a 13.43m jump. He also placed fifth in long jump (6.75m).
The 4x100 team also brought home a bronze finish, posting a 41.57s. Chase LaTouche, Kourtland Harris, Cory Stoll, and Neko Gibson all contributed.
Stoll also had some impressive performances on long jump (6.88m) and the 200m dash (21.66s). He took fourth in both. In the 100m, he placed sixth with a 10.84s dash.
Taking the sixth spot in the 400m, Noel Andino ran a 50.14s.
