COLUMBIA, S.C. - The men's track and field team placed sixth at the NCCAA Outdoor Nationals with a total of 56.5 points and four top-three finishes.
How it Happened:
The Panthers saw two second-place finishes from the 4x100 and 4x400 teams. The 4x100 team ran a 41.48, while the 4x400 team posted a 3:15.88.
Tony Lakotich finished third in the 400m hurdles, running a 57.43.
Keenon Johnikin also finished third in his event, collecting a 13.96m triple jump.
The 4x800 found a fourth-place spot with a 7:54.10 finish.
Isaiah Petersen vaulted 3.70m to take fourth in the pole vault.
Chase LaTouche (400m), Joe Gomez (800m), Keenon Johnikin (long jump), and Jordan Peternel (triple jump) all placed sixth in their events.
