ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — The men's volleyball team was handed two losses at Augustana on Saturday as they fell in four sets to Benedictine before a three set loss to Augustana.
Greenville's match against Benedictine ended with a 25-15, 28-30, 25-21, 25-13 final.
Johnny Milabu was one of three Panthers with nine kills in the match, and he only committed one error in 14 attempts to finish with a hitting percentage of .571.
Kyle Ward and Marc Gonzalez also had nine kills. Ward added four block assists, and Gonzalez tacked on a service ace.
Logan Dameris and Isaiah Canales paced the GU defense. Dameris posted 15 digs, and Canales provided six block assists.
The match against Augustana ended with a three-set 25-16, 25-19, 25-19 loss.
Milabu posted six points with four kills, a solo block, and two block assists.
George Black and Gonzalez also provided four kills. Gonzalez had a service ace.
Dameris added five digs.
The Panthers (6-3) travel to Aurora for a match on Wednesday.
