Men's Cross Country claims ninth consecutive SLIAC Championship title
LITCHFIELD, Ill. - The men's cross country team became SLIAC Champions for the ninth consecutive year on Saturday. The Panthers finished first with a perfect score of 15 points with Gianna Estrada as their leader.
How it Happened:
Greenville provided the top five finishers in the race. Estrada finished first, running a 26:24.32, while Joe Gomez followed closely behind in second place with a 26:25.94.
Jalen Franz, James Goodenow, and Ray Dagner followed in suit to give GU a perfect finish. After their impressive performances, these five runners, along with Jack Arends, claimed their spots on First Team All-Conference.
Josh Medlin, Joseph Goodenow, and Jeremiah Perry received Second Team All-Conference honors with their tenth-, twelfth-, and thirteenth-place finishes.
