Women's gymnastics finishes second at Lindenwood
The women's gymnastics team competed at Lindenwood where they collected 186.600 points and placed second. The Panthers received a third place performance from Amara Nelson in the balance beam and fifth place from Ellery Gilmer in the floor exercise.
ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The women's gymnastics team competed at Lindenwood where they collected 186.600 points and placed second.
The Panthers received a third place performance from Amara Nelson in the balance beam and fifth place from Ellery Gilmer in the floor exercise. Nelson scored a 9.800, and Gilmer had a mark of 9.700.
Greenville started the afternoon with the bars. Ashlie Leage posted a 9.400 as a part of GU's overall bars score of 44.650.
Scoring a 9.575, Isabella Feltman gave Greenville its top performance in vault. She added to GU's 47.075 for the event.
Nelson competed in the all-around competition, placing second with an individual overall score of 36.000.
The Panthers return to action on Saturday at Simpson.
