Women's gymnastics establishes new high with score of 186.975 at Wisconsin-Eau Claire

LA CROSSE, Wis. - The women's gymnastics team participated in a triangular with Wisconsin-La Crosse and Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday night and finished third of the three teams, just three-tenths of a point behind Eau Claire.
The Panthers accrued a score of 186.975. La Crosse won the meet with a total of 193.450, and Eau Claire was second with 187.275.
Rachel Miller won the floor exercise with a routine scoring 9.850, and Amara Nelson took the title in the all-around with a combined score of 37.400.
Isabella Feltman was Greenville's top scorer in the vault and balance beam. She received a 9.425 in vault and a 9.600 in beam.
GU's top performer in the uneven bars was Nelson with a score of 9.450, contributing to the Panther's event score of 45.525.
The Panthers will next compete at Centenary on Feb. 11.
