Women's gymnastics hires Anique Grenier as head coach
The Greenville University women’s gymnastics team announced the addition of Anique Grenier as its head coach.
GREENVILLE, Ill. – The Greenville University women's gymnastics team announced the addition of Anique Grenier as its head coach.
Grenier comes to Greenville after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at the United States Air Force Academy. While at Air Force, she helped the Falcons break multiple program records and coached many athletes to conference and national championships.
Before Air Force, Grenier was a student-coach for two years at Southern Utah University before transferring to Utah State University where she competed for two years.
At Utah State, Grenier received Academic All-Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference honors and became a conference champion in 2022.
Grenier graduated from Utah State in 2022 with a journalism (public relations) major.
"Anique's arrival will allow the women's gymnastics program to continue its development," said B.J. Schneck, director of athletics. "I look forward to her work with this program, and I am excited to see her impact."
Zach Peters will continue to work with the women's program as an assistant coach in addition to his men's head coach responsibilities.
