TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The women's soccer team jumped on the Fightin' Engineers early but ultimately fell to Rose-Hulman 3-1.
How it Happened:
1st Half
Greenville came out firing with an early goal in the 11th minute by Maddie Missey and an assist from Emma Cadwell.
The Panthers led 1-0 until the last second of the half when RHIT tied it up.
2nd Half
GU turned up their offense in the second half with six shots from an array of Panthers.
However, Rose-Hulman took the lead in the 65th minute, making it 2-1.
Cadwell and Vanessa Ramirez attempted shots to tie it up but were unsuccessful. Then, in the 82nd minute, RHIT put their final goal on the board, leaving it 3-1.
Cadwell led the team with two shots and an assist, while Addison Miller was protecting the goal with five saves.
