DECATUR, Ill. - The women's soccer team was defeated 2-0 by Millikin on Wednesday evening. Although the Panthers managed to get six shots off, they were unable to put themselves on the board.
How it Happened:
1st Half
Vanessa Ramirez attempted two shots in the first half, but neither landed.
Thankfully, Millikin also didn't score, so the score was 0-0 going into halftime.
2nd Half
In the 55th minute, Millikin scored their first goal. Then they turned around and made it 2-0 in the 64th minute.
This made GU's offense ramp up, so we saw shots from Ramirez, Ashlie Johnston Cabral, Mia Long, and Dillyn Baer. Unfortunately, none made their way into the goal.
