ELSAH, Ill. - The women's tennis team met Truman State at Principia on Saturday, and the Panthers played the NCAA D-II team tough in their 5-4 loss.
Greenville took one of the three doubles matches when the No. 3 tandem of Emily Buratovich Maltbie and Stephanie Kamp earned an 8-1 win.
In singles, No. 1 Irlanda Oliver, No. 5 Maltbie, and No. 6 Natalia Higashi recorded wins. Oliver and Maltbie's victories came in straight sets, and Higashi went to a tiebreaking third set.
The Panthers (4-2) will next face Anderson on March 2.
