DECATUR, Ill. - The women's tennis team collected the first two wins of their 2024-25 campaign at Millikin's Dorothy McClure Invitational. They defeated Central (Iowa) 5-2 and Millikin 6-1.
How it Happened:
Match 1 vs. Central
The Panthers collected wins on all three of their doubles, led by their number ones, Irlanda Oliver and Emily Kowalke.
Greenville won four of their singles matches. Oliver, Kowalke, Lanie Carder, and Evie Johnson all came away with wins.
Match 2 vs. Millikin
Once again, GU won all three doubles matches to earn one point.
To earn the rest, the Panthers won five singles matches, two of them by forfeit.
Carder, Johnson, and Lily Gregory faced opponents and won.
