Women's track & field - 2025 SLIAC Indoor Champions
ELSAH, Ill. – The women's track and field team is the 2025 SLIAC Indoor Track and Field Champion after putting up a 267.50 to take first. The Panthers had a remarkable twelve gold finishes, eight second-place finishes, and seven third!
How it Happened:
Anna Beth Vancil had a 1.68m jump to earn first in the high jump, while Jazmyn Harmon recorded a 5.28m long jump for her first-place finish. Harmon also took first in the triple jump (11.31m).
Talahiva Talanoa put up a 13.47m throw in shotput and an 18.07m weight throw for the event titles. Talanoa was named the 2025 SLIAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year!
In the 60m hurdles, TyKiaza Jones earned the top spot with an 8.92s dash.
Taylor Tucker recorded a 1:00.21 in the 400m to take first with Gretchen Carie crushing it in the one mile (5:27.75). Carie also finished first in the 3000m run with an 11:16.49.
To take first in the 800m, Norah Swinigan ran a 2:31.02.
The GU 4x400 and DMR teams both placed first. Tucker, Harmon, Eva Schwaab, and Jocelyn Fritz were the runners who wielded the 4:10.32 in the 4x400.
Alivia Clayton, Schwaab, Raven Vance, and Chloe Aubuschon made up the DMR team to give the Panthers a 14:28.33 gold-medal finish.

The Panthers run at Carthage next Saturday before heading to the NCAA DIII Indoor Championships the following week.
