Talanoa earns All-American status at NCAA Division III Indoor Nationals
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The women's track and field team was represented by Talahiva Talanoa and Anna Beth Vancil at the NCAA Division III Indoor Nationals. Talanoa walked away an All-American and Vancil put up a phenomenal top-sixteen performance.
How it Happened:
Talanoa competed in the weight throw and shot put, earning her All-American status in weight throw. She put up an 18.58m heave to take sixth place.
In the shot put, she threw 13.22m to take thirteenth.
Vancil took a spot at sixteenth with her 1.60m high jump, earning a spot on Second Team All-America.
