Chasity Hill was selected as the SLIAC volleyball defensive player of the week for the week of Sept. 19-25.

Hill wins her second straight award after leading the Panther defensive efforts in two conference wins last week. The junior totaled 37 digs in her two matches, averaging 6.17 digs per set. She had a high of 24 digs in a sweep of Eureka and followed with 13 more in a sweep of Blackburn. Hill also added 10 assists and 1 kill.
