Head Coach Tom Ackerman makes history with his 441st win

SANDUSKY, Ohio – The women's volleyball team had a monumental win today against John Carroll, giving Head Coach Tom Ackerman his 441^st career win.

Ackerman is in his twenty-third year as head coach at Greenville and just broke the school record for most wins in women's volleyball coaching history. He surpassed Coach Lynn Adams who sat at number one with 440 wins.  

Thus far, Ackerman has had a remarkable coaching career with eight SLIAC tournament titles and seven NCAA tournament appearances. He's also racked up thirteen regular-season championship titles.

With the first win of the season and many more to come, Ackerman has painted his and Greenville's names in the record books.
