Women's volleyball wins two at Rose-Hulman tournament
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The women's volleyball team returned home from the Fightin' Engineers Volleyball Invitational with two wins and two all-tournament team awardees. They defeated Olivet and Rose-Hulman, both 3-1. Elaina Evers and Emma Ratermann were named on the all-tournament team for their outstanding performances.

Match 1 vs. Olivet
S1: 16-25, S2: 25-16, S3: 25-16, S4: 25-14
After losing the first set to Olivet, the Panthers came back to win the next three sets to take the 3-1 win.
Anna Beth Vancil and Elaina Evers led the GU offense. Vancil recorded sixteen kills, hitting .429, while Evers hit .261 with ten kills.
Defensively, Lucia Garcia and Abby Grohmann killed it. Garcia had twenty-four digs and Grohmann had four blocks: one solo and three assists.
Match 2 vs. Rose-Hulman
S1: 25-21, S2: 25-22, S3: 28-30, S4: 25-16
Rose-Hulman challenged the Panthers a bit more with some closer sets, but Greenville came out on top with another 3-1 win.
On the attacking side, Evers and Grohmann led the team with multiple kills. Evers recorded eighteen with a kill percentage of .302, and Grohmann put up fifteen kills.
Garcia excelled defensively again with thirty-four kills.
Emma Ratermann was at setter for both matches and recorded a total of eighty-four assists, twenty digs, and five block assists.

The Panthers (3-2) travel to Augastana (Ill.) this weekend to play in the Viking Classic. They will face Augustana (Ill.), DePauw, and Buena Vista.
