Women's Cross Country claims the SLIAC Championship title
LITCHFIELD, Ill. - The women's cross country team became SLIAC Champions for the third year in a row on Saturday. The Panthers finished first with nineteen points with Gretchen Carie as their leader.
How it Happened:
Greenville provided the top four finishers in the race. Carie finished first, running a 22:41.64, while Norah Swinigan followed closely behind in second place with a 24:15.43.
Raven Vance and Alivia Clayton placed third and fourth. After their impressive performances, Carie, Swinigan, Vance, and Clayton claimed their spots on First Team All-Conference.
Chloe Aubuschon and Emily Bohm received Second Team All-Conference honors with their ninth- and fifteenth-place finishes.
