Greenville landed in the top three for the conference preseason polls across all fall sports.

The football team downed Crown 64-20 to complete the season 5-5. GU finished with a UMAC record of 2-3 and tied for third place.

The football team led 16-14 at halftime, but they could not hold the lead to the finish in their 33-23 loss to Kalamazoo on Friday night at Don Stout Field.

The football team recorded a 38-6 win at Westminster on Saturday to spoil the Blue Jays Homecoming weekend. The Panthers (4-4, 1-3 UMAC) will play Kalamazoo in their next contest. The game time and location of that contest will be finalized on Monday.

The football team suffered a 32-12 loss to Northwestern on Saturday afternoon in GU's Homecoming game at Don Stout field. Greenville took a 9-7 lead into halftime, but the Panthers were outscored 25-3 in the second half to drop the UMAC contest.

The football team fought back from an 18 point deficit with 16 points in the fourth quarter, but the Panthers dropped their second UMAC game of the season 31-29 at Martin Luther on Saturday afternoon.
